TEAM WEST OF ENGLAND

The West of England Working Group for the 2012 Games brought the opportunities and legacies presented by the 2012 Games to life across the county.

The run up to the 2012 Games offered a unique chance to generate long term benefits for sporting and cultural organisations, businesses and the wider community. Promoting London 2012 Legacy in the West of England

Team West of England worked closely with Wesport (West of England Sport Trust) to collate all of the London 2012 legacy activities that happened across the West of England.

Get Active Wesport was the only West of England wide database of activities, venues and clubs that allowed users to search for London 2012-inspired activities and events at the touch of a button!
