From Cheltenham to Torquay and Bournemouth to Penzance, people across South West England became involved in projects and events inspired by the London 2012 Games.

Partnerships were set up in each of the seven ‘county’ areas in the South West to deliver and support local projects that would bring the legacies of the London 2012 Games to life.

The 7 county areas were: Cornwall, Devon (including Plymouth and Torbay), Dorset (including Bournemouth and Poole), Gloucestershire, Somerset, West of England (Bath, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire), Wiltshire (including Swindon).
