Team Dorset is helping to bring the legacies of the London 2012 Games to life in the county. The run up to 2012 is a dynamic time for Dorset. We want life in our county to improve and progress for years to come.
The 2012 Games are a once in a lifetime opportunity to create positive change, regeneration and a sustainable legacy for all.
Already there is over £450 million of private and public sector 2012 inspired investment happening in a wide range of legacy projects from the Weymouth Relief Road to the redevelopment of Bournemouth Airport.
Team Dorset has five key themes to help it deliver and respond to the opportunities within the county:
Dorset has it's very own 2012 inspired volunteer programme and if you would like to become a volunteer in Dorset up to, during, and beyond 2012 then you can submit an 'expression of interest'. Please see their website for details at the following link: www.teamdorset.org.uk/Community/Volunteering
